Dressler Group at Formnext 2022

For Dressler Group (DG), sustainability is not a trend, it has always been part of our DNA. After all, we are dedicated to the optimal use of resources and raw materials in every process – whether we are developing individual powder solutions for customers or our own production plants and processes. At the Formnext trade fair in Frankfurt, from 15-18 November 2022, we will showcase how we are able to boost efficiency and quality for our customers or be their personal driver of innovation.

DG powders: added value as a turbo boost for efficiency, sustainability and quality

Our powders for 3D printing, medical and pharmaceutical technology and specialities offer competitive advantages that go far beyond the actual specifications. For example, through consistent batch-to-batch quality, we enable trouble-free processing, even on a large scale. Our custom powder designs provide greater stability and design freedom, and we optimise recyclability by ensuring the highest level of purity. Efficiency in our powder production brings a corresponding gain in efficiency when our customers put these powders to use. DG Innovation Campus

Starting from spring 2023, the new DG Innovation Campus will provide a fresh structure for Dressler Group’s theoretical and practical knowledge, in particular from the Technical Centre and Innovation Lab. This online platform rests on three pillars: DG Knowledge, DG Services and DG Dialogue. In addition, the Campus will enhance partnerships with customers and suppliers as well as cooperation with universities, it will expand the DG network and enable us to nurture and recruit young talent even more effectively. The bottom line is that our customers and partners gain a relevant and usable advantage in knowledge. This translates into very concrete benefits, such as minimised risk, maximum resource efficiency and reproducibility of powders in any quantity at any time.

DG Innovation Journey – a day in the Technical Centre

After the great success of last year’s campaign, companies can once more apply to embark on their own “DG Innovation Journey” at this year’s Formnext. This year, the focus is on companies working with organic materials and other sustainable raw materials. The winners of the voucher (a total of XX will be awarded) can collaborate with the DG experts on the development of their own custom 3D powder specification.

DG goes USA: on-site grinding for greater self-sufficiency and sustainability

Right on time for Formnext 2022, DG is launching a new business segment – one with real game-changer potential in the 3D printing market: From 2023, DG will provide US customers with a complete “enabling package” from Meckenheim, allowing them to produce fully customised 3D printing powders themselves. A comprehensive needs analysis will be conducted with the customer to determine precisely what their individual package will include. The benefits: independence from disrupted supply chains, scalable quantities right up to industrial scale, maximum efficiency, minimised costs and greater sustainability thanks to short distances.
