Experts come together: Dressler Group attends Fakuma and formnext again in 2018

Formnext 2018

There’s nothing like personal conversations. Trade fair visitors have not one but two opportunities to talk to experts from the Dressler Group (DG) in autumn at Faktuma and formnext – maximum information, minimum effort.

Meckenheim – The Dressler Group stands at events and trade fairs have been very well attended over recent years. After all, the Meckenheim-based experts in custom grinding and finishing of plastic powders have established themselves on the market as “The Grinding Authority”. And in 2018, too, in the year that marks the 40th anniversary of Godding + Dressler GmbH and thus the seed of today’s corporate group, the experts are present at two internationally oriented trade fairs.

DG is at Fakuma in Friedrichtshafen on Lake Constance, the world’s most important trade fair for plastic processing with over 1,800 exhibitors, from 16 to 20 October. Topics include 3D printing, which is also a core competence of DG. (https://www.fakuma-messe.de/)

Around a month later, from 13 to 16 November, DG will be presenting itself to an international audience and around 500 other exhibitors at formnext in Frankfurt am Main. (https://www.mesago.de/de/formnext/home.htm )

Besides the highlights of the last 40 years – around 2,600 processes, some of which have been patented, have been developed by DG to date – the experts from Dressler Group will be offering an outlook on current and future trends. An example: instead of grinding powder more and more finely (even if this is technically possible, it should not be an end in itself), the “rounding” of the powder has proven to be a better alternative, depending on the application. The benefit: greater energy and material efficiency, less waste. And to enable DG to continue to be right at the forefront in terms of not only quality but also innovation, its partnerships with customers and collaboration with universities are being expanded. A master’s thesis is thus currently being written on the “rounding” of powders in process engineering.

“We anticipate the needs of our customers,” says Jan Dressler, managing partner. “Thanks to our extremely close customer relationships and our in-house research institutions, the Technical Centre and Innovation Lab, we can virtually develop the future in real time.” A recent customer satisfaction survey also confirmed this very quality of DG: The confidential and trusting working relationship with the DG experts, the attentiveness, flexibility and use orientation were especially praised.

What else does DG has to say for itself? To give a few examples: the company's new dimensions thanks to new premises and new facilities; new services and research opportunities; the granting of a patent for Spherical Powder Technology (SPT) and its revolutionary application options and lots more besides, which is why a personal meeting at either of the trade fairs is definitely worthwhile.
